CHALLENGE

The Pixode Team was faced with the need to conduct training sessions for a new recruiter in the Ukraine office. The task was to provide the new employee with the comprehensive personal HR training to quickly train and onboard her.  

WHAT WAS DONE

  1. Brief session to agree on the timing, format and preferable topics to provide a more individual approach.
  2. InspHire’s HR Consultant Olga Kravets developed an individual training plan consisting of three individual training sessions (2 hours duration each) including practical tasks and home tasks. 
  3. Individual database in Notion was created with all the information for training: notes for each session, useful links, tips, glossary, books recommendations. 
  4. During the training Olga Kravets was always in touch with the trainee for any questions via messengers. 

TOPICS COVERED

  • Sourcing: where and how to source talents, tips on job descriptions, mapping, all these voodoo words of X-Ray and Boolean Search, the magic of search on Spotify, secrets of meetup.com contacts scrapping, when it’s worth going to alternative sources.
  • Approaching: how to communicate with candidates, inventing your outstanding tone of voice, personalized messages, using industry language and professional slang.
  • Pre-screening: art of phone calls. General structure, how to present the company and position, why it’s not an interview but dialog and how to ask questions during that dialog, how to create clear communication, give feedback and leave a good impression.
  • Practice: phone call to the candidate + detailed feedback
  • QA session

KEY OUTCOME

InspHire conducted 6-hour personal intensive training which provided the new Pixode recruiter with a deep dive into what a recruitment life cycle is. During 4 weeks of intensive training and during the next 1.5  months she recruited 10 new employees.
